I saw your appearance on Joe Heisler's “Talk of the Neighborhood” on June 7, 2005 where you offered to sit down with me and tell me how I can go about winning a seat on the City Council. I very much appreciate the offer, as you clearly have much more experience in that regard than I do.
I agree with you that housing and education are two of the biggest issues facing the city. I'm sure you are aware that the Boston Foundation's recent report identified these as the two main issues that Boston needs to address.
So, I accept your offer. Please get in touch with me at your earliest convenience so that we can set up a time that is mutually convenient. I look forward to meeting with you and being able to talk in depth for the first time.

Regarding council appointments docket numbers 0784-0790, it would be a good idea for all councilors to list their staff on councilors weblinks at http://cityofboston.gov/citycouncil The staff listings would include any of the special areas of expertise or interest that each staff person has for the councilors office. It is often easier for people to contact a staff person specializing in an area of concern.
