City sells $451,000 building for $100 after $500 campaign contribution to Menino!

Another example of how the city doesn't get it. I'm not exactly against giving it away for short money. They will put millions into it, and it will help the 'hood. Plus, it's been vacant for a while, so it may genuinely unwanted.
But to give it to your friends rather than have a 'get this building free for a good proposal' bidding process - business as usual as you so politely say.
